The Under 16s lost 3-0 to Herne Way who are perched at the top of league table.

In the first half we was unlucky not to be winning as we was all over them pretty much for whole of that period. For long periods, we were camped in their half.
In the Second half the boys dropped off due to tired legs (no substitutes) and we failed to convert numerous chances. Herne Bay proved why they are leading the table as they caught us out and used the bench to their advantage. It was a great effort from the 11 boys, but it demonstrates the requirements for having a squad because when you drop off the pace, a change using substitutes was so badly needed today against the quality of the opposition, but it's definitely coming together now, the signs are very positive!
We had some big stand out players today, but Olly Browne fully deserved the man of the match accolade because he was amazing today.
