The Under 16 side, lost 2-3 to Manston. We opened up the scoring with a great strike from JJ. Unfortunately, a penalty, and another quick-fire goal from the opposition, meant we lost the lead. The lads settled and got back into the game. A through ball from the midfield, and with Cayden's speed, we levelled the game. The lads communicated throughout the game, but unfortunately, the only time there was a mix up between the defence and the goalkeeper, it led to a goal in the last few minutes of the game. We had controlled the game throughout; but just couldn't convert the numerous chances we had created. It was promising that the lads had learnt from the previous week, and I was pleased they communicated with more conviction.
